Many corporate users have experience using Lync 2013 or Lync 2010. For those of you who are familiar with the older versions, I wanted to write a blog focusing on the new features of Skype for Business Online:
- New look and feel – the Skype for Business Online client now looks very similar to Skype for consumers
- Integration with the Skype directory – search for any contact in the Skype directory from the Skype for Business client
- Call monitor – monitor the call and perform simple functions from a tiny window in the corner of your screen while you are working with other applications
- Rate my call – answer a few simple survey questions once your call ends
- Quick access to call controls – access dial pad with one click
- Emoticons -the Skype for Business client now has the same emoticons available to Skype for consumers
