All software have vulnerabilities, and Java is no exception. Oracle regularly releases updates for Java when security vulnerabilities are discovered in the software. If you are an ODS customer, H Tech Solutions will deploy new updates of Java to your PC. There is no additional charge for this service.
One of the issues with Java is that installing the latest version of the software does not automatically remove the older versions. This means that your PC could still be vulnerable, even after applying the latest Java update. H Tech Solutions recommends uninstalling old versions of Java and only running the latest version. Oracle has released a tool to make it easier to uninstall older versions of Java. The tools is free and available for download here:
