ODS now has full support for Apple devices running iOS 4.0 and above including iPads and iPhones. For those ODS customers who have a current subscription, there are no additional charges or fees for ODS to manage iOS. ODS provides device management for up to 5 devices for one low monthly price.
ODS uses a new direct management method to manage iOS devices. There is no longer a requirement to have an Exchange Server or Exchange ActiveSync. iOS devices can be managed via a cloud service with no on-premises infrastructure required.
Here are some of the features available for iOS management:
- Remotely wipe an iOS that is lost, stolen, or replaced
- Enforce policies and settings for password management, iCloud synchronization, e-mail, and encryption
- Hardware inventory
